Privacy
FYIStockz is a Chrome extension that analyzes a news article for its impact on stocks. This page explains what data it uses. We keep it to the minimum the product needs.
What stays in your browser
- Your watchlist of tickers and your selected market.
- Your last 10 analyses (article title, address, and results), so you can look back at them.
Uninstalling the extension removes this data. We never receive your history or the addresses of the pages you read.
What is sent when you click Analyze
- The article's title and text, your ticker list, and your chosen market.
- This is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI model provider to produce the analysis.
- We do not store or log this content. It exists in memory only while your request runs.
What our server stores
- Your Google account ID and email address, when you sign in.
- Your plan and subscription status, and your remaining analyses.
- A usage record for each analysis (a timestamp and whether it counted against your allowance). It contains no article content.
What we do not collect
- Your browsing history, the pages you visit, or the articles you read.
- Payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record.
Services we rely on
- Google for sign-in.
- Dodo Payments for subscriptions and billing.
- An AI model provider to generate analyses from the text you submit.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Not investment advice
FYIStockz provides informational summaries only. It is not investment advice or a trade recommendation.
